In response to the recent surge in BDS campaigns around the country, SPME is expanding its BDS coverage. We’re pleased to launch a monthly Live Briefing Series which will feature SPME specialists and guests to discuss the latest BDS news, as well as developments in areas such as law and politics. Live Briefings will consist of a presentation and the opportunity for members to address questions to the speaker.
Dr. Alex Joffe is editor of SPME’s monthly BDS Monitor. He an archaeologist and historian specializing in the Middle East and contemporary international affairs.
Educated at Cornell University and the University of Arizona, he is also a Shillman-Ginsburg fellow of the Middle East Forum.
Among other topics he has written extensively on the BDS movement and contemporary antisemitism.
